At Develop Your Idea, we understand that cost is always a major concern.
Our goal is to provide the inventor the services they request in a professional and timely manner. Since everyone’s invention is “one-of-a-kind”, it is impossible to establish a “one-size-fits-all” price. We've established a price structure based on the number of parts associated with an invention. We do this to give the inventor an idea of the costs, up front.
Once a concept is drawn up on the CAD, to the inventors’ original specifications, we can make changes to the drawings, however, changes require additional time and resources. Develop Your Idea, Inc. reserves the right to charge for these changes based on our hourly rate of $85/hr. Our package prices are based on 7 parts.

Research Analysis:
Research analysis is an important initial step for inventors who think they have a good idea but don't know if they should devote their time and resources to developing it. After obtaining a signed Confidentiality Agreement, we will provide the following:
- Product description and background
- A current market analysis of your idea for similar type products
- A professional opinion on your products' potential market size, as well as consumer interest in terms of design and appeal
- A concept "sketch" of your idea, hand drawn by an Industrial Designer, based on your initial drawing
All of the results of our research analysis are emailed to you for you to decide whether or not to proceed.

Starter Package:
If you know exactly what you want, complete with dimensions, we’ll draw your invention on a CAD (computer) system in 3D and provide you with a set of orthographic drawings of your invention. You give us a drawing with dimensions and we’ll transfer that to a 3D CAD drawing. Use these drawings for patents, prototypes or to bid your project out.

Virtual Package:
If you want to try and sell your idea, this package is designed to convey your idea and its’ benefits in a virtual format.
This package will includes:
- Brief research on the idea. (buyers like to know you’ve done this)
- Professional 3D CAD drawings of your invention.
- A 3D VIRTUAL prototype of your new invention.
- Level I, rendered images of your invention.
- A “Provisional Application kit” that you fill out and submit for Patent Pending status.
- All of this will be put on a CD for easy e-mailing.

Professional Package:
This package is designed for inventors who want the deluxe package, from initial research to a physical prototype.
Maybe you want to show your invention at a trade show; to an investor, or try to sell your invention. Nothing will sell your idea better than a physical prototype.

- A 3D form study straight off the CAD drawings –if applicable.
- Up to 8 hours of combined engineering and/or Industrial design assistance.

Buyers List:
If you have your presentation ready to show buyers, the next step is to get it in front of the right person. Just about every company you talk to will have their own “policy” regarding reviewing new inventions. Not all will be open to it. Some will have a list of wants while some will have a contact name alone. You need to get your invention in front of the right person. We have absolutely no way of knowing whether one invention will sell over another, so we don’t offer any guarantees, but, we do know how to find the manufacturing companies related to your invention. We can generate a custom list for your invention. It’s easy but time consuming work. We will do the research to provide you with a custom list (company name, address, phone number and a contact persons name, if available) of potential buyers for your invention. Use this list to send out copies of your Virtual package to see if a company may be interested in your invention. "Be aware, most all reputable companies won't want to talk until you have some type of patent protection and they probably will want you to sign THEIR agreement (their terms). Pay an attorney to review any paperwork.

Online Invention Marketing
If you are going to take the next step and sell you invention, the best way is to post you invention on the internet. Making a website for your invention is the most economical way for an inventor to show his Invention. We can set up a website for you and even market it out to the potential buyer. Whether they are multimillion dollar companies or the average consumer.

Form Studies:
A Form study is an exact representation of an invention as it is drawn on the computer. These are usually made to give the inventor a first glimpse of their invention in a 3D model that they can observe and analyze. These are printed directly from the computer to a 3D printer using a couple different technologies.
- Level I - - low resolution; inexpensive.
- Level II - - high resolution; more expensive.

Renderings:
If you want to have a photorealistic image of your invention as it may appear in its environment, these HD renderings will actually take your virtual prototype and place it into a virtual environment so you can get an idea of what it may really look like. These are the next-best thing to actually making a prototype.
- Level I - - These are basic renderings.
- Level II - - These HD renderings will take your invention and render it in an environment, for a more realistic view.

If your invention is best understood by seeing it in action, an animation may be just what you need. These animations are the best solution for illustrating just what your invention looks like, it’s features, benefits and how they all function.
